Winning $1 million lottery ticket sold in Liberty
Ohio's newest millionaire found their riches at a Liberty convenient store.
According to a regional Ohio Lottery official, someone won $1 million on a scratch off card sold at the Liberty Quick Stop on Belmont Avenue. The ticket sold was a $10 scratch off, the store's owner said.
Ohio lottery called and said Liberty Quick Stop to notify the store about the winner, who is yet to go public with their winnings.
The store will receive 10% of the winning value, good enough for the Quick Stop's own pay day, worth $10,000.
