'IT WAS FIFTY YEARS AGO TODAY,' a Beatles tribute band comes to play Packard in June

WARREN, Ohio - It was fifty years ago today, a Beatles tribute band came to play.
Actually, it's two short months until a tribute to The Beatles' number one albums Rubber Soul and Revolver are performed live at Packard Music Hall in Warren. A musical group called IT WAS FIFTY YEARS AGO TODAY, made of Todd Rundgren, Christopher Cross, former Chicago bassist Jason Scheff, Badfinger plus Moody Blues singer and Wings guitarist Denny Laine will play tracks from those two records on Monday, June 6.
Pre-sale tickets go on sale this Thursday, April 21, at 10 a.m. and can be accessed on ticketmaster.com by using the code "PACKARD." General tickets go on sale to the public Friday, April 22, either online or visiting the Packard Music Hall box office.
