Trial set Monday for suspect charged with murdering Boardman woman

Reports say Mullen was beaten inside her Shields Road home. The injuries she suffered during the attack caused her to pass away on June 1.

YOUNGSTOWN - Jury selection is scheduled to get underway Monday afternoon in the case of a man charged with murdering a Boardman woman.

George Hill III, 46, is charged with murder, felonious assault, and domestic violence in connection with the May 2020 beating death of Jennifer Mullen.

Reports say Mullen was beaten inside her Shields Road home. The injuries she suffered during the attack caused her to pass away on June 1.
