Power restored for nearly 5,000 Mahoning County residents

Nearly 5,000 people in Mahoning County were without electricity Monday afternoon.
Approximately 4,942 people experienced the power outage, before electricity was restored at 5 p.m. for all customers, according to FirstEnergy. Most households facing the blackout were in Youngstown and Campbell, with 2,360 and 1,377 outages respectively. Some residents in Lowellville, Poland Township and Struthers are also faced the power outage.
FirstEnergy provides electricity to more than 225,000 people in Mahoning County.
