NILES, Ohio - Students in Trumbull County filled the Eastwood Mall this weekend where they put their business and sales skills to the test.

The Junior Achievement of Mahoning Valley Youth Market gave students who set up 20 different small business tables an opportunity to become entrepreneurs on Saturday.

The students competed by showing off and selling items they created or prepared to sell to shoppers at the mall to shoppers.

The young entrepreneurs were responsible for setting up their tables, product sales, marketing and interacting with customers.

Awards were presented for Best of Show, Best Product and the People's Choice Award.

WFMJ Weekend Today Anchor Lindsay McCoy served as a judge and as the emcee for the award ceremony.

Best of Show went to Ry's and Shine Bakery, the Best Product award went to Caleb's Spice and the People's Choice award was given to Wise Guy's Lawncare.

Youth businesses represented included J & B Sweet Treats, Alaina’s Cards, Sassy Stitches, Emily’s Dainty Delights, The Superior Healers, Lynnee Twins, LLC., Curios & Whatnots, Lemon Lime DIY Products, Citron Décor, Action Jaxson’s Cat Craze, Caleb’s Spice, A’lonas Tie Dye & More, Liv’s Scrubs That Everyone Loves, Wise Guys Lawncare, Jason’s Lemonade and Baked Goods, The Cookie Factory, Twins Artistry, Whimsyy, and Ry’s and Shine Bakery.
