STRUTHERS, Ohio - A Struthers business wants to help the Lowellville community begin to heal, and at the same time support children's mental health.

Artists at Work, Inc., a screen printing and embroidery shop, have created navy blue "Rocket Strong" t-shirts.

The owner, Betsy Kirkwood, said she has been in contact with the district and will donate the shirts to staff.

In addition, she plans to sell the shirts to the public with half of the proceeds benefiting children's mental health.

This comes after a tragic incident where a student shot themselves in the school cafeteria. The student later died.

"I called the school and I asked them if I could donate a t-shirt to all the teachers. I'm going to donate the t-shirts to teachers, principle, vice principle, superintendent, stuff like that, and counselors," said Kirkwood. "Then I am going to sell t-shirts to the public and then half of those proceeds are going to children's mental health."

Kirkwood is working with the district's counselors to select which organization will receive the donations.

T shirts are $15 for sizes youth small - adult x-large and $18 for sizes 2x-4x.

Artists at Work is located at 337 Elm St. in Struthers.
