POLAND, Ohio - The Mahoning County Medical Society Alliance presented a check for $10,000 to the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley during a luncheon on Thursday at the Lake Club in Poland.

Proceeds came from a Charity Basket event held in March.

The Mahoning County Medical Society Alliance is a volunteer organization comprised of physician spouses who provide local support to the Valley through health education, legislation, community service and fundraising.
