YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Protestors gathers in downtown Youngstown Thursday evening to honor the memory of and raise questions about the death of journalist, Shireen Abu Aqleh.

Aqleh was killed on Wednesday while covering an Israeli military raid. A broadcaster and two other reporters who were with her blamed Israeli forces for her death.

Protestors believe she was targeted because of her profession, as well as where she was from.

"We need an investigation to go on with what happened to her. Especially because she is an American citizen. She has a dual citizenship as a Palestinian American citizen," said Naseri Husain of Youngstown.

Aqleh was a familiar face in the Middle East, and was known for her coverage of Israel's open-ended military occupation of the Palestinians.
