VALLEY COVID-19 UPDATE: Jump in case numbers across the Valley

All three counties in the tri-county area are once again seeing very significant increases in COVID-19 cases per 100K with Mahoning County in particular jumping by over 200 more than last week.
This week, Columbiana County jumped to 222 cases (217.9 per 100K), Trumbull County Jumped to 421 (212.7 per 100K) and Mahoning County jumped all the way up to 563 (246.2 per 100K).
For reference, last week's case numbers in Mahoning County was 341, meaning that cases increased by 222 for the county.
While Columbiana County's transmission risk level remains low, Mahoning and Trumbull Counties both jumped up to the medium risk level this week.
In the Shenango Valley, Mercer County also jumped up to the medium risk level this week. However, Lawrence County's risk level remains low.
