Columbiana Co. to offer PSA testing for county residents

The Columbiana County Health District is hosting an appointment-only Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) screening clinic for men on Thursday, June 9 at the Health District, 7360 State Route 45, Lisbon, Ohio.
To schedule an appointment for the PSA clinic, call 330-424-0272.
There will be no charge for residents of the General Health District to be screened. Anyone attending the clinic who lives outside of Columbiana County will be charged $25, which must be paid in
cash.
The American Cancer Society recommends an annual PSA screening for men over age
50.
Because African-American men have a higher risk of prostate cancer, it is recommended they begin having the screenings at age 45. Men who have a family history for prostate cancer also should begin the screenings at age 45.
