The city of Youngstown has been without an events coordinator for nearly two years and a half years.
The mayor's office on Friday announced that Melanie Clark-Penella has been selected to serve as the new
Downtown Events Coordinator.
Clarke-Penella replaces Terrill Vidale, who held the position for four years but was not renewed for the position in January of 2020.
We attempted to contact Clark-Penella for more information on her background as an event coordinator, but our calls and email have not been returned.
