SHENANGO TWP., Mercer Co., Pa. - The Mercer County Coroner has identified a body found last month in Shenango Township as that of 32-year-old Ashley Rock of Cleveland.

Coroner John Libonati tells 21 News that the cause and manner of death have not yet been determined, but said it appears that Rock died elsewhere and her body was left at the scene. 

The Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Investigation Unit and Shenango Township Police are investigating.

Rock's body was discovered in a ditch along Sharon Bedford Road between Jimro Road and Spring Road south of the Oak Tree Country Club.

Authorities say the body has not yet been identified.

A news release from the police does not have information about what may have caused the woman's death.

Mercer County Coroner, John Libonati tells 21 News an autopsy will be conducted Thursday morning at 11:00 a.m.
