Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership requests ARP funds for blight remediation

WARREN, Ohio - Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership (TNP) is requesting ARP funds for a blight remediation project.
According to a PDF sent by TNP, the organization has a three-pronged approach for blight remediation: Preventative Repair, Renovation and Demolition.
TNP is requesting funding for the completion of home repair and/or needed accessibility modifications for owner-occupants. The projected cost is an average of $10,000 per homeowner with each project capped at $15,000.
This will be for 75 properties totaling $750,000 in home repair funding.
In addition, TNP has requested funding to perform the environmental remediation and demolition of blighted and abandoned residential properties. The projected cost is an average of $15,000 per property.
This will be for 100 properties totaling $1,500,000 in demolition funding.
Finally, TNP is requesting funding for the renovation of vacant blighted property ending in resale to owner-occupants. The funding would be used to cover the difference between rehab and resale costs.
The projected cost is an average of $30,000 renovation offset per property in order to cover the gap between rehab costs and sales price. This will be for 50 properties totaling $1,500,000 in renovation funding.
