Car shears pole, cuts power to 1,100 in Boardman
Dispatchers were told that a car crashed into a pole near Tiffany Boulevard at around 8:15 a.m.

BOARDMAN TWP., Ohio - First responders rushed to the scene of a car accident along South Avenue in Boardman Monday morning.
Dispatchers were told that a car crashed into a pole near Tiffany Boulevard at around 8:15 a.m.
The car landed on its roof in a parking lot, shearing the pole, which was hanging by wires.
Two people were removed from the vehicle.
21 News is working to find out if anyone was injured
South Avenue has since reopened.
According to FirstEnergy, more than 1,100 homes and businesses in the area were without power for about 20 minutes until customers could be switched to a backup line.
