Trumbull County, Mahoning County and Warren City Health Districts, alongside Mercy Health and the Mercy Health Foundation of the Mahoning Valley and Trumbull and Mahoning Mental Health and Recovery Boards will be holding multiple Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) meetings throughout July.

The organizations recently completed a community health assessment to find out the needs of their communities, and are now ready to take action to address those needs.

Four CHIP meetings will be held both in person and via Zoom allowing community members to have a voice in the process.

The first sessions will be held on Sunday, July 10 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Trumbull County will be hosing theirs in the Warren City Council Chambers, and Mahoning County will be holding theirs at the Eugenia Atkinson Recreation Center in Youngstown. Both settings can also be attended via Zoom.

Community members are invited to discuss issues such as mental health and substance use, access to care, and community conditions with an emphasis on community safety.

In addition, three more sessions will be held in both counties to discuss these issues individually. Details about these meetings as well as Zoom links for each one can be found below.
