Bullets hit three homes, a business in Warren

WARREN, Ohio - A three-day period in Warren saw a business and three homes shot at throughout the city.
Police reports show the incidents as happening between July 7-9.
The first incident occurred at a home on the 200 block of Dickey Avenue NW. A juvenile was laying on his bed just before midnight on July 7 when he heard a loud boom and realized the window had been shot.
The boy saw the bullet crash through the window and his bedroom door before ending up in a closet.
A second incident happened during the early morning hours of July 8 at a home on the 200 block of Austin Avenue NW. A homeowner in that area told police a bullet went through his wall and into his TV overnight.
The third shooting happened at the intersection of Elm Road NE and Larchmont Ave NE around 12:30 a.m. on July 9. Officers responded to that area after a caller heard around 10 gunshots.
Police said they found shell casings in the intersection before being waved down by a worker at the Convenient Food Mart on the northwest corner of the intersection.
The worker told police that one shot went through the front window and another hit the ice cooler. Nearly 20 shell casings were found in the driveway, yard and sidewalk of a home on the 1300 block of Larchmont Ave NE.
Only one of the bullets hit the home, striking the gutter and going into the overhang of the front porch.
The last incident happened overnight on July 9 at a home on the 1300 block of Elm Road NE. The family was sleeping at the time and didn't realize that three shots hit their home.
Two of the bullets went through the home, breaking panes of glass and damaging the house's siding.
There's no word on if these shootings are connected or if police have a suspect.
