YOUNGSTOWN - Some businesses in Youngstown are attributing an increase in foot traffic and seats filled at their restaurants on Y-Live being moved downtown.

The Luke Bryan concert attracted around 20,000 people to Wean Park which is near the Covelli Centre.

Many folks attending the concert reserved tables or decided to give restaurants downtown Youngstown a try.

The General Manager at West 34th Restaurant on Federal Street says he and other businesses are hoping Y-Live will be at Wean Park again next year.

"The crowd was huge right around 4:00 p.m. when some of my reservations started coming in they just packed the place. We had doors open on the side here on Phelps, and everything. So the crowd size was surprising in numbers. I haven't seen that many people downtown since COVID," Will Happney General Manager of West 34th Restaurant said.

He added the crowd was a happy crowd with no toxicity.
