The Cortland Street Fair kicked off Thursday evening with tons of food, bands and entertainment.

21 News's very own Lindsay McCoy was the Mistress of Ceremonies at the event and also hosted the Miss Cortland Pageant. The winner of the pageant was 17-year-old Lola English, a senior at Lakeview.

Still to come this weekend, on Friday folks can enjoy live music from bands including Broken Reins, Speed Limit and Birds in Flight.

Additionally, the Trumbull County Schools Robotics Teams will be at the Community tent from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and there will be an ice cream sandwich contest at 7:00 p.m. at Just Pizzelles.

On Saturday, folks can look forward to a parade at 6:00 p.m. with 21 News anchor, Derek Steyer as MC.

In addition folks can check out a Niles Police SWAT truck from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., there will be a Mecca Search and Rescue canine demonstration from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The Trumbull County Schools Robotics Teams will also be back starting at 3:00 p.m. and there will be more live music from Northern Whiskey and Hair Supply.

All this and much more will be at the Cortland Street Fair on Main Street in Downtown Cortland.
