MCPH, Angels For Animals hosting low-cost rabies vaccine clinic
Mahoning County Public Heath is offering a rabies vaccine clinic at Angels for Animals (4750 W South Range Road) on the 7th from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
CANFIELD, Ohio - If your pet needs a rabies vaccine, you might want to mark down August 7th on your calendar.
Mahoning County Public Heath is offering a rabies vaccine clinic at Angels for Animals (4750 W South Range Road) on the 7th from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Rabies vaccination is required for dogs, cats and ferrets over 3 months of age in Mahoning County.
Each shot is $8 cash only.
Pet owners must have their animals on a leash or in a cage.
The clinic does not include a physical exam of the animal.
To receive the 3-year booster, bring proof of prior rabies vaccinations on or after August 7. Without proof of a prior vaccine, the pet can only receive a 1-year vaccination.
No appointment is needed for the clinic.
