Grand jury does not indict Pittsburgh Aeronautics student in threat case

WARREN, Ohio - The Trumbull County Grand Jury has "no billed" the case of a New Waterford man who had been charged with inducing panic and making terroristic threats following the lockdown of the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics in Vienna Township.
That means that 18-year-old Christian Blymiller no longer faces charges in the case.
Typically, a grand jury considers a case to determine if there is enough evidence to put a defendant on trial.
During an earlier hearing in Girard Municipal Court, School Director Joseph Deramo testified that back in May, two students told him that they believed Blymiller was depressed and had expressed thoughts of hurting someone.
Although Deramo testified that he had no knowledge of Blymiller making a direct threat directed at the school, he locked down and evacuated the building after learning that Blymiller had purchased an AR-15 assault-style rifle and 100 rounds of ammunition.
Blymiller never was on campus with a weapon.
