The Mega Millions jackpot has gone up yet again this time breaking $1.28 billion with a cash option of $742.2 million.

This would be the second largest prize in the game's 20-year history with the current record jackpot being $1.537 billion, which was won in 2018 with the winning ticket being sold in South Carolina.

Four Mega Millions jackpots have been won to date in 2022 so far in California, New York, Minnesota and Tennessee. The odds of winning are one in 303 million.

Tickets to play are just $2, and in most jurisdictions, players can add the Megaplier for $1 more to multiply your non-jackpot prizes.

Please play responsibly.
