South Avenue resurfacing project extended through November

Resurfacing work on South Avenue in Boardman, originally scheduled to wrap up in October, has been extended into November 2022.
The resurfacing project will take place from Presidential Drive to Mathews Road and include resurfacing, pavement markings, traffic detectors, pavement repair, and curb and gutter replacement.
This is part two of a two-phased $2.5 million project, with part one covering South Avenue between Western Reserve Road and Presidential Drive. Phase two is set to begin Wednesday, September 7.
There will be construction during the day and night with various lane restrictions, but traffic will be maintained in both directions.
However, if possible, drivers are still asked to avoid the area, as some delays will occur due to the construction.
