HOWLAND, Ohio - A Southington man has been arrested after allegedly following a woman through a Giant Eagle store in Howland and exposing himself.

The female victim told police that a suspect, later identified as 76-year-old Daniel Nezbeth Sr. was following her and her two young children throughout the store.

The victim told police that Nezbeth would pick up items as if to purchase them, but then put them back on the shelf while continuing to follow her.

Police say the victim eventually went back to the liquor department for assistance and employees brought her to the back room and separated her from Nezbeth to call police.

One employee left the female victim in the back room of the liquor department to search for Nezbeth. Police say the employee found Nezbeth near the entrance to the liquor department with his genitals exposed.

Nezbeth was escorted out of the store and told police he was in the store to see if they accepted a government assistance food card, as well as the prices of certain items. He told police he did not speak to anyone in the store and was taken into custody without incident.

Nezbeth is charged with two counts of public indecency. He was arraigned in Warren Municipal Court on Wednesday where he pled not guilty to these charges.

Previously in August, Nezbeth was accused of exposing himself to a three-year-old boy on Parkman Road in Warren.
