LISBON, Ohio - Lisbon is getting ready to kick off the 2022 Johnny Appleseed Fest Saturday September 17 and Sunday, September 18. Here's everything you need to know before you go.

The festival kicks off Saturday morning at 10:00 in Downtown Lisbon in the village square with the annual Grand Parade kicking off shortly after at 10:45 starting at McKinley Elementary.

In addition, there will be plenty of food vendors, rides, live music, a car show and so much more.

A complete schedule can be found below:

SATURDAY:

- 7:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. - All you can eat fireman's pancake breakfast at the fire hall on South Jefferson Street. The breakfast is $8 per person and children age five and younger can eat free.

- 8:00 a.m. Queen's royal breakfast at David Anderson Senior High School

- 9:45 a.m. - Parade lineup at McKinley Elementary School. 

- 10:45 a.m. - Grand Parade Grand Marshall 

12:30 p.m. - Royal crowning on the main stage immediately following the parade. Queen will receive a $1,000 scholarship and Royal 1st and 2nd attendants will receive $500 scholarships. There will also be a crowning of Little Miss Apple Blossom and Little Mr. Apple Bud and introductions to visiting royalty. Art project winners will be announced here too.

- 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. - Kids apple crafts in the gazebo

- 1:00 p.m.-2:45 p.m. - Live music from a tribute band on the Washington Street Stage

- 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. - Car show at J Mullen Motors 

- 2:00 p.m.-2:45 p.m. - Live music from Bill Crawford on the main stage

- 3:00 p.m.-3:45 p.m. - Live music from Blind Colors on the main stage

- 3:00 p.m.-3:30 p.m. - Live music from Keller Family Singers on the Washington Street Stage

- 4:00 p.m. - Apple pie contest featuring 21 WFMJ Meteorologist, Eric Wilhelm as judge

- 3:45 p.m.-4:45 p.m. - Dance performance by the Bette Lee Dancers on the Washington Street Stage

- 4:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m. - Live music from Giovaun on the main stage

- 5:00 p.m.-5:45 p.m. - Martial arts demonstration from McLaughlin Martial Arts instructor, Chris McLaughlin on the main stage

- 6:00 p.m.-6:45 p.m. - Dance performance by Social Stompers Line Dancers

- 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. - Live music from 7% Superstar on the Washington Street Stage

- 8:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m. - Live music from New Wave Nation on the main stage.

SUNDAY:

- 10:00 a.m.-11:45 a.m. - Church service with Lisbon Assembly of God and special guest, Rick Jackson Southern Gospel

- 1:00 p.m.-2:30 p.m. - Pet parade on the main stage

- 2:00 p.m.-2:45 p.m. - Michael Jackson dance with Chris Garcia on the Washington Street Stage

- 2:00 p.m. - Ice cream eating contest at The Grange Ice Cream Trailer

- 2:30 p.m.-3:15 p.m. - Live music from Zach Byers with Katie Stowers

- 3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. - Johnny Appleseed Fest (JAF) Has Talent on the Washington Street Stage. Cash prizes include $100, $75 and $50 plus a spot on the 2023 JAF Stage. Register here.
