Neshannock Township awarded $250,000 to modernize Hutchinson Community Center
The grant is courtesy of the Commonwealth Financing Authority's Greenways, Trails and Recration Program and will help modernize the building, which has been falling into disrepair.

NESHANNOCK TWP., Lawrence Co. Pa. - Pennsylvania Representative, Chris Sainato has announced on Tuesday that Neshannock Township has received a $250,000 grant to help fund ronvations to the Hutchinson Community Center in Pearson Park.
The grant is courtesy of the Commonwealth Financing Authority's Greenways, Trails and Recration Program and will help modernize the building, which according to Sainato has been falling into disrepair.
"The building has developed problems we can no longer afford to ignore including mold, plumbing and roof leaks and outdated and inefficient kitchen and HVAC equipment," Sainato said.
Sainato says the total cost for the renovations is $661,080. The township has committed $411,080 of that cost.
