Youngstown man sentenced to over 27 years in prison on child pornography charges

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A Youngstown man will be spending over 27 years behind bars after being sentenced on child pornography charges on Tuesday.
Fifty-year-old Jason Huffman was sentenced to 27.3 years in prison as well as $3,000 restitution.
Back in April, Huffman pled guilty to two counts of Transportation of Visual Depictions of Minors Engaged in Sexually Explicit Conduct, two counts of Sexual Exploitation of Children and one count of Possession of Child Pornography.
Court documents indicate that Huffman had persuaded a minor into sexually explicit conduct between April 2015 and July 2017 and again between August 2019 and December 2020.
Additionally, an indictment indicates that Huffman was in possession of a cell phone containing images of child pornography in February 2021.
