Traffic investigators are looking for the vehicle that knocked down a pole and wires, closing part of Market Street in Youngstown.

Police and firefighters were called out to Market Street and Evergreen Avenue at around 5:15 a.m. Wednesday to a report of downed wires.

They found a metal light pole on the ground at the corner and wires crossing Market Street.

Police also found a car bumper in the street, but the vehicle had left the scene.

Several street lights are out in the area.

FirstEnergy is on the scene. Until crews make repairs, Market Street is closed between Evergreen and Warren Avenues.
