Ohio reports first Monkeypox death in state

Ohio - The State of Ohio has reported its very first Monkeypox death on Thursday.
According to the Ohio Department of Health's (ODH) Monkeypox dashboard, there is currently one Monkeypox-related death in the state so far.
On September 14, the CDC reported the first Monkeypox-related death in the U.S. making this death at least the second Monkeypox-related death in the country.
ODH's Monkeypox dashboard did not specify the location in Ohio where the death took place.
In the Mahoning Valley, there are currently only three reported Monkeypox cases. All of which are in Mahoning County. Overall, the state has a grand total of 246 cases with Cuyahoga County leading with 140 cases.
