Child safety cabinet latches recalled due to potential choking hazard

North States Industries has issued a recall on its Toddleroo rotating cabinet latches due to a potential choking hazard.
The recalled products were sold in a package containing four latches measuring 3 13/16 inches wide by 1 3/8 inches high by 1/2 inch deep. The products also came with application adhesives.
Model number 6178 is printed in the top left corner of the product's packaging and UPC number 0-26107-06178-2 or 0-26107-06177-5 are printed at the bottom left corner of the packaging.
These products were sold at Walmart, BuyBuyBaby and other stores across the country between August 2019 and September 2022.
North States Injuries has reported 19 cases of the latching button dislodging or detaching with one report of a child gagging on the dislodged button.
Anyone who purchased the recalled product should stop using it immediately and contact North States Industries for a refund.
Consumers will be asked to provide photos of the front and back of the product and confirm that they have destroyed or disposed of the latches.
Upon confirmation, consumers will receive a refund of $5.50 or the purchase price on the receipt if available.
