Man accused of threatening to 'shoot up' Grove City McDonalds after teen refuses to send nude pictures

GROVE CITY, Pa. - A November court hearing is scheduled for a man accused of threatening to “shoot up” a Grove City fast food restaurant because an employee who worked there refused to send him nude pictures of herself.
Charges of terroristic threats and disorderly conduct filed against 19-year-old Hunter Gerstberger have been sent to Mercer County Common Pleas Court for prosecution.
According to a complaint filed by Grove City Police, the Rostraver, Pennsylvania man has admitted to meeting a girl on Snapchat and asking her for nude pictures in mid-August.
Police say Gerstberger also admitted to officers that when the girl refused, he said he “was going to shoot up your McDonalds in Grove City”.
Gerstberger claims that he believed that the 16-year-old girl was eighteen.
Police became aware of the alleged threats when the McDonald’s manager contacted them.
The teen said she blocked Gerstberger after he continued the threats. She grabbed screenshots of the conversation with Gerstberger and showed them to the police.
A November 19 arraignment is scheduled for Gerstberger who remains free on $5,000 bond.
