One of the seven teens charged after a disturbance at this year’s Canfield Fair awaits sentencing after pleading to several charges in juvenile court.

The boy, who was 14 at the time he was charged, has pleaded “true” to charges of aggravated riot, aggravated trespass, resisting arrest, inducing panic, disorderly conduct, carrying a concealed weapon, and tampering with evidence.

Investigators say the boy had a gun that he hid under a car in the fairgrounds parking lot on the last Sunday of the fair.

Ten people, including seven adults, were charged following an incident that started as a fight near fair rides by Gate C.

A large fight then broke out into smaller fights in that area and outside of fair gates.

Those involved were charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and obstruction.

Security at the fair was heightened following the incident.
