New Castle woman killed in two-car crash in Wilmington Township

One woman is dead and a man is injured following a two car crash in Lawrence County.

WILMINGTON TWP., Pa. - One woman is dead and a man is injured following a two car crash in Lawrence County.

State Police say a car being driven by 72-year-old Linda Thomas of New Castle was at a stop sign at Old Mercer Road and Route 208 in Wilmington Township when she pulled into the path of another car just before 5 p.m. Thursday.

Both vehicles were extensively damaged in the crash.

Thomas was taken to Jameson Hospital where she died.

The driver of the other car, 18-year-old Alexander Glazier of New Wilmington, was taken to Mercy Hospital in Youngstown. Police did not provide information about the extent of injuries to Glazier.
