The Powerball jackpot has jumped again… this time to a record amount of $1.6 billion.
As of Friday morning, the jackpot is estimated at $1.6 billion with a cash option of $782.4 million for the next drawing on Saturday, Nov. 5.
Here's what that number looks like in its entirety: $1,600,000,000. Those are a lot of zeroes.
If a player wins Saturday’s jackpot, it will be the largest jackpot in U.S. lottery history, passing the world record $1.586 billion Powerball jackpot and the $1.537 billion Mega Millions® jackpot.
