Pennsylvania was the center of the political universe this past weekend.

No less than Donald Trump, Barack O'Bama and Joe Biden campaigned in the Senate race between Mehmet Oz and John Feterman.

According to multiple national news outlets, no Senate race in the country has received as much money and attention as the contest between Republican Mehmet Oz and Democrat John Fetterman in Pennsylvania.

If Fetterman wins it would flip a republican seat to democrat, making the republican effort to win back a majority in the senate very, very difficult.
Right now, most polls have OZ as a one point favorite.

"There's been some reputable polls with Fetterman leading. There's been some reputable polls with Oz with a slight lead. This is truly a toss-up," said Dr. Michael Coulter, Grove City College Professor.

But will all the recent commercials and campaigning change any voter's minds?

"We had 3 Presidents come in the same day on Saturday but I'm not sure at the end of the day that is going to make much of a difference. Voters have said consistently what they really care about is inflation and the economy and everything else is a pretty distant second. Beyond that I think it's just who do they dislike more," said Grove City College professor, Dr. Caleb Verbois.

PA has a lot of absentee ballots to count on Tuesday and they can't legally even open the envelopes until that day. So when will we even know who wins this race? Local election officials say not Tuesday night.

"Some of my colleagues in the larger jurisdictions are thinking it will take 24 hours to get all of their ballots counted and they will be doing that continuously. I expect we'll have results from larger counties when people wake up on Wednesday," said Thad Hall, Mercer County dir. voter registration and election information.
