Suspect charged for murder of Warren woman

Warren Police have filed a murder charge against a woman in connection with the death of a woman from that city.
Kenyana Pennock, 36, of Warren was booked into the Trumbull County Jail on Monday.
According to court records, the murder charge stems from the death of 36-year-old Jesaree Harris of Warren.
According to a police report, Harris was possibly struck by a car at Drexel Avenue and Parkman Road NW at around 1 a.m. on Sunday, November 6.
During a press conference Monday with Warren police and the Prosecutors office, more information was provided.
At approximately 1:07 am, police responded to calls of a female in the road. Harris was declared dead on Saturday, Nov. 12.
Pennock was originally charged with felonious assault, but after Harris died, the charge was modified to murder.
According to Warren police, video was obtained from the scene, along with multiple calls. Police alleged that Pennock returned to a nearby bar and called authorities, indicating a fight had taken place.
Police said they are uncertain if Harris jumped onto the vehicle or was struck by the car, but said that Harris fell off the car is when she received the serious injuries that led to her death.
Pennock is expected to be arraigned by video in Warren Municipal Court Tuesday.
