Mobile mammography van to make its rounds in Mahoning Valley throughout December
Mahoning Valley - The Joanie Abdu Comprehensive Breast Care Center (JACBCC) Mobile Mammography Unit will be making its rounds throughout the Mahoning Valley throughout the month of December.
This state-of-the-art mobile unit uses the same technology and equipment to perform mammograms that can be found in the JACBCC. It offers 3D mammography allowing for a more thorough breast examination.
There are multiple ways a patient can schedule a mammogram.
Patients can work with their Mercy Health physician, who can schedule their patients directly from their office, or patients can call a community site where the van will be to schedule an appointment.
However, it is not recommended to call a primary care facility hosting the van. Instead, it is recommended to call 330-480-2654 to schedule their appointment.

- December 1: Mineral Ridge Primary Care (1360 N. Canfield-Niles Road) 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
- December 1: Austintown Primary Care (5533 Mahoning Avenue) 12:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m.
- December 2: Howland Primary Care (1932 Niles-Cortland Road) 8:00 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.
- December 21: Howland Primary Care (1932 Niles-Cortland Road) 8:00 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.
- December 22: St. Joes at Eastwood Mall 8:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
- December 22: Churchill Primary Care (4694 Belmont Avenue in Youngstown) 12:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m.
- December 23: Trailwood Primary Care (900 Trailwood Drive in Boardman) 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
- December 23: Stutz Primary Care (3685 Stutz Drive in Canfield) 12:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m.
