A teacher a the Trumbull Community Action Program's (TCAP) Head Start program is accused of dragging a three-year-old student across the floor.

According to a police report from Warren PD, the incident occurred on November 16 when the child's mother had told police that her three-year-old daughter was grabbed and dragged across the floor by a teacher.

Police say the teacher was calling the student's name multiple times, but she was playing and didn't hear her name being called. Police say the teacher then grabbed the child by her arm and dragged her to the other side of the classroom.

According to the police report, the child's mother was unaware of the incident until December 5.

The program conducted an investigation of the incident, and informed the child's mother that the teacher has been fired as of January 3.
