Kravitz Deli reopens for diners after fire

LIBERTY TWP, Ohio - Kravitz Deli, a Valley landmark for 80 years, has been closed after a grill fire in mid-November and is now set to reopen its doors.
Owner Matt Rydarowicz said while the damage was minimal to the business, the closure allowed the restaurant known for its corned beef sandwiches an opportunity to do some long-planned improvements.
Beyond the internal improvements made to its dishwashing station, the deli got a new coat of paint and installed a large hood, flat-top grill and fryer station, which opens additional food options to its menu, including french fries. Fries will be on special all week beginning Monday for $1.99 a plate.
Rydarowicz said he is excited to have the doors opened again and looks forward to seeing regular and new customers filling the seats and tables.
“It hasn’t felt the same without the daily customers,” Rydarowicz says. “We have everybody’s favorites ready for folks to enjoy in a freshened space.”
The restaurant will be open Monday through Friday, 10 am to 6 pm, Saturday 10 am to 5 pm, and closed on Sunday.
