Austintown attorney sentenced to one year probation on amended charges
An Austintown attorney has been sentenced to one year of probation and 20 hours of community service on two amended charges.
Attorney, David Gerchak had previously been charged with two counts of Engaging in Prostitution, but according to court records, both of these charges have since been amended to Disorderly Conduct.
Gerchak pled no contest and was found guilty on these charges. Court employees tell 21 News he was fined $150 for each count.
The charges stem from an incident from August of 2022, when Gerchak was accused of soliciting multiple sex acts from an undercover agent posing as a prostitute.
