Woodland Cellars announces partnership with 'Too' Hot Mamas
It's a new business partnership that started as a simple friendship.
Hubbard-based businesses Woodland Cellars and 'Too' Hot Mamas are joining forces to create what they say is an enhanced customer dining and winery experience.
"I think it's a very complimentary pairing," said Nate Wilson, Owner of Woodland Cellars. "Audra helps make us better and we help make her better."
"I opened the 'Too' Hot Mamas shop in the front of this building and as we were working together in the fall, business was increasing so we decided this would be a good time, a good partnership," said Audra Horton, Owner of 'Too' Hot Mamas.
Owners Nate Wilson and Audra Horton have been friends ever since their businesses kicked off together along Main Street in Hubbard.
"We did little collaborations here and there and little events and really got to know more about each other's businesses," Wilson added, "And it just sort of made sense to mold them together."
Both Wilson and Horton agree this will benefit both of their business's popularity by being able to expand together.
"In October, I had my shop and I was opening here on Wednesday nights because, at that point in time, they didn't have a cook," Horton explained. "So, I just started making paninis and trying different recipes and they were taking off really well."
"She'll modify the menu based on her inspiration or different products she feels should be incorporated into the menu," Wilson added.
The collaboration officially launches on February 1st as the two have joined forces previously, collaborating through marketing and promotional activities and events for years.
"Incorporating "Too" Hot Mama's homemade products such as our peppers, toppers, and all of our "secret sauces" will offer patrons a new level of dining that they won't find anywhere else in North Eastern Ohio," Horton said. "Additionally, we will be introducing homemade hummus, flatbreads, salsa, and other new menu special features in the coming weeks."
"Just supporting local and really keeping the business within our community and supporting one another has a tremendous impact," Horton added.
Other enhancements will include regional partnerships including Ferris Farms located in New Wilmington, PA, the Hubbard Farmers Market, and the grand opening of KT's Coffee Talk. A new coffee shop adjacent to the winery is scheduled to open in February and will introduce a delicious variety of homemade desserts through another local business, AB Sweets. Product expansion includes an exclusive new line that merges products from both companies,
called 'Too Hot Cellars.'
