The Youngstown State and Oakland basketball teams will get some national attention Friday on ESPN2.

Their matchup was selected by the Horizon League.

'We want to get close to a sell out," said sixth year head coach Jerrod Calhoun, whose team is 16-5 overall & 7-3 in the league.

"We need to get this city behind this team . They've been awesome all season and I think its time to take it to another level," continued Calhoun.

As of late Thursday afternoon 3,000 tickets are gone and that doesn't include a large contingent of students expected for the 9:00pm tip off.

"Every fan matters," said senior Bryce McBride. " I don't think Beeghly Center has been sold out for a long time. So come out, it'll be a special night with a group of special guys."

The game is being branded as "red out" and fans are encouraged to wear red for the game.

'I'm all about opportunity and I think our players have to take advantage of this opportunity because you don't what it could do for our program," stated Calhoun.
