ZLINE has issued a recall on some of its gas ranges due to serious risks of injury or death from carbon monoxide poisoning.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, there have been 44 reports of carbon monoxide emission with three reports of people needing medical attention.

Previously, the company had recalled gas ranges with model numbers, RG30, RGS-30, RGB-30, RG36, RGS-36 and RGB-36. Now, model numbers, RG48, RGS-48 and RGB-48 have been added to the recall as well.

The ranges were sold in three sizes: 30, 36 and 48 inches. They were sold in multiple colors including blue gloss, blue matte, DuraSnow, red gloss, red matte and white matte, and multiple finishes including stainless steel, black stainless steel and DuraSnow and cloudy steel.

The ranges were sold between February of 2019 and December of 2022 at retailers such as Best Buy, Home Depot, Lowes and The Range Hood Store nationwide, as well as online retailers such as Build, Costco, Overstock and Wayfair for between $2,300 and $6,900.

Anyone who has purchased a recalled product should immediately stop using the oven compartment until it is repaired. Consumers may contact ZLINE for a free at-home repair.

Consumers can continue to use the range tops, as they are unaffected by this issue.
