Penguin hoops go "four for four" at Beeghly Center

It was a winning weekend for the Youngstown State basketball programs winning all four games at Beeghly Center.
The men capped it with a 73-63 come from behind win over Detroit Mercy Sunday afternoon in front of 4,187 fans, the largest home crowd of the season so far.
The Penguins put three players in double figures, led by Dwayne Cohill (20) , Adrian Nelson (18) and Bryce McBride with 14 points.
YSU was outplayed in the first half and trailed 33-25 but outscored the Titans 48-30 in the second half.
"We said we had to be tougher in the second half, " said Jerrod Calhoun (17-6 & 9-3 in league).
"We just had to stay the course in the second half and you can see how the players have matured and trust each other."
In the second half the Penguins went on a 14-6 run and trailed 41-39 and a 12-0 run to go up 54-46 and in the process held the NCAA's second leading scorer Antoine Davis to 15 points,
"We know that he likes to get going late so we knew we had to pick up the intensity," stated Myles Hunter who played defense on Davis the majority of the game and held him to 15 points.
The Penguins wrap up their four game home stand Thursday against Wright State & Saturday against Northern Kentucky.
