The Mercer County Coroner has identified the two victims in a deadly three alarm house fire in Mercer County.

The two victims have been identified as 37-year-old Justin Foust and one-year-old Kendric McBride.

Mercer 911 got the first call about a fire on Enterprise Road in Pine Township, shortly after 8:30 a.m. Monday.

Mercer County Coroner, John Libonati says Foust died trying to rescue McBride in the fire. It is unclear if these two were related, but Libonati tells us both victims resided in the home.

The family who lived in the house tells 21 News they're devastated and the infant, just a year old, was sleeping when the fire started.

The house is now caved in and lying in ruin and the family says they'll have to stay with other relatives.

More than a dozen fire trucks and several firefighters from surrounding communities were called to keep the fire spreading from the home which was reported to be fully engulfed in flames three miles east of Grove City.

When 21 News arrived on the scene, the entire structure had been burned.

Pine Township Fire Chief Nate Addleman says the house was a total loss.

State Police say a fire marshal has been called to help determine the cause of the fire. At this time, no foul play is suspected.
