Meijer offering SNAP customers 10% off on produce throughout February, March
Department store chain, Meijer is offering customers with SNAP benefits a 10% discount on produce throughout the months of February and March.
According to Meijer's website, this 10% discount would not affect any other sales going on in the store so customers can still enjoy sales such as the 7 for $7 and Buy 5 Save $5 without any markups.
The chain has a history of helping its SNAP customers gain access to healthy food. Back in October, the chain began offering special discounts for SNAP customers on produce thanks to a waiver granted by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
In addition, Meijer helped SNAP customers by offering free home delivery in November during the holiday shopping season.
The 10% discount lasts throughout all of February and March ending on March 31. The discount is valid for in-store purchases only.
