A Virginia man is free on bond after authorities say he offered money to have sex with who he thought was a woman and a teenage girl.

As it turned out, 35-year-old Brandon Budd had been in contact with an undercover agent with the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force.

According to court documents, the Culpepper, Virginia man answered an advertisement posted by the Task Force on a website known for prostitution.

Investigators say Budd thought he had arranged to pay $180 to have unprotected sex with a woman and a fifteen-year-old girl.

An agent says when Budd showed up at a pre-arranged location in East Palestine on Thursday, he was found to have $200 in cash and the phone allegedly used to make the appointment.

Mahoning County Sheriff's Office confirmed Budd is a monster truck driver.

He was set to compete in the “Toughest Monster Tour” show at the Covelli Centre, but because of the arrest, JAC Management Group said, "The venue was notified this morning and he was removed from the show immediately.”

Thunderbird Entertainment, which manages the truck tour, told 21 News “He [Budd] will not be part of the show. Another truck and driver is coming to replace him.”

After being booked into the county jail, Budd was arraigned Friday on charges of engaging in prostitution, compelling prostitution and possessing criminal tools.

Budd is free on $25,000 bond. One condition of his bail is that he has no contact with any juvenile.

Another court hearing is scheduled for February 9,
