Deputies, troopers, guard posted at East Palestine intersections, some roads closed

Concerns over the possible explosion of one of the tank cars involved in the East Palestine derailment has prompted authorities to take further measures to keep people off the streets.
Law enforcement officers will be posted at 19 intersections in and around the village.
In addition, the following roads will be closed as of 8 a.m. Monday in response to the evacuation order.
Once these roads will be closed no one will be permitted to travel in the area, according to officials.
The list includes all road East of Market Street.
These following roads will be closed:

- Taggart St.
- Anna St
- East Clark St.
- Washington St
- East Martin St.
- Forbes St
- East North Ave
- South Pleasant Drive

- North Pleasant Drive
- Lyons Ave
- Sebring St
- Highland Ave
- Columbia St
- Adams St
- James St
- Failer St.
- Liberty St
- Sumner St.
- Moore Lane
- Oak St
- Market St.
- Conner Dr
