Bass Pro Outpost plans Eastwood Mall location

Lovers of outdoor recreation and sports will have another spot to shop in the Valley.
The Eastwood Mall Complex will become home to a Bass Pro Shops Outpost sometime in the next 12 months.
According to the mall’s Joe Bell, Bass Pro Outpost will be located in a 63,000 square foot space in the Howland Commons section of the complex just across the parking lot from a soon-to-be-opened HomeGoods and Meijer.
It will be Bass Pro’s only location within 150 miles of the Mahoning Valley, offering outdoor, fishing and hunting gear.
The store will showcase fishing boats, with well-known names like Tracker, Nitro, Sun Tracker, Regency and Tahoe.
In communities across the country where Bass Pro Shops has opened, its stores serve as a major economic driver attracting millions of visitors annually seeking its one-of-a-kind experiential retail offerings, according to Bell.
“We are humbled and excited to strengthen our relationship with the many hunting, fishing and outdoor families of Ohio. This part of the world is home to a proud sporting heritage,” said noted conservationist and Bass Pro Shops founder Johnny Morris. “Our latest Bass Pro Shops in Niles will make it easy for people and families to enjoy time together in the woods and on the water. For that we, we are deep down proud and excited.”
In addition to Bass Pro, Meijer, and HomeGoods, the mall is welcoming Longhorn Steakhouse, Mudslingers Coffee, Mission BBQ, Nrgize Lifestyle Café, JD Sports, Daily Thread, Box Lunch, McAlister's Deli as well as Flynn Tire & Auto Service.
