SLIDESHOW: Renders released of forthcoming Student Center at YSU
Renders have been released of a new student center set to come to Youngstown State University's Kilcawley Center in the next few years.
The renders, sent by Associate Vice President of Student Experience, Joy Byers, showcase what the finished product of the $40 million Zoldan Family Center could look like.
Byers tells 21 News the designs are subject to change during the process.
The new center will offer extended hours, high-tech meeting space and greater dining services.
"Students need a place to belong, they needed a place that they can come to in between classes that met their needs, and that's not always during 9-5 hours," Byers said in a previous interview with 21 News regarding the project.
Byers tells us the process from design start to completion could take between four to five years.
