LOWELLVILLE, Ohio - The Village of Lowellville is planning to remove a pedestrian crosswalk Thursday.
Crews plan to rip out the pedestrian crosswalk west of 1st Street due to road surface issues.
The crosswalk area has caused constant running surface conditions there and removing the path will let crews repair the area properly.
Once the area is repaired, officials will determine if the crosswalk will be remade or removed permanently.
